From Prototype to Scale: Mechatronics in Sønderborg

From Prototype to Scale: Mechatronics in Sønderborg

Innovation and MVP (Minimum Viable Product) at LINAK
Jens Jørgen Nielsen, Senior Director R&D Mech., LINAK A/S

How does market leader LINAK drive innovation within linear actuators – and how do they continuously adapt to new market demands?
That’s what Jens Jørgen Nielsen will share at this event, where he presents not just one, but two concrete cases showing how LINAK keeps innovating and improving by aligning their products with the market and real customer needs. Through these two examples, Jens Jørgen Nielsen will inspire entrepreneurs to test the value and assumptions behind their innovation, learn from the results, adjust – and test again. To tune in to the innovation that matters.

From Startup to Scale
Per Lachenmeier, EasyRobotics

Lars Duggen, Head of Unit at SDU Mechatronics (CIM), presents:

Milad Morid Zadeh, Ph.d. student, SDU CIM:
Get a look into the invisible revolution happening inside SDU. Milad will talk on the massive, untapped potential in our everyday heating and cooling systems – and how mechatronics is the key to unlocking it. Milad will give insights into how we are moving beyond simple switches to implement “self-aware” energy systems, and how they fuse smart hardware (sensors, valves) with intelligent brains in the cloud. This fusion of mechanical engineering and system controls is opening a new frontier for high-tech startups.

Olgierd Nowakowski, Engineer, SDU CIM:
Olgierd will give insights into the evolution of mechatronic components enabled by 3D printing. From his involvement in establishing the 3D printing environment at SDU in Sønderborg to today, where local companies actively use these technologies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
